This page explains what personal information Altruistspace collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is maintained by the Altruistspace team and applies to altruistspace.com and any subdomains.
Who we are
Altruistspace is a mobile-first link-in-bio and digital business card platform. Where this policy refers to "we", "us", or "our", it means the Altruistspace team acting as the data controller for account holders.
Information we collect
- Account information such as your name, email, and profile photo, provided when you sign in with Google or email.
- Space content you add, including bio, headline, links, socials, mobile number, and WhatsApp number.
- Reveal & event data when a viewer signs in to reveal your contact details, so we can show you who connected and at which event.
- Usage & device data like page views, taps, approximate location by IP, browser type, and referrers, used for analytics and fraud prevention.
How we use information
- To operate your space and deliver contact reveals.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
- To improve features, performance, and reliability.
- To communicate service updates and respond to support requests.
Sharing
Public parts of your space (name, tagline, links, socials) are visible to anyone with the link. Contact numbers are hidden until a signed-in viewer taps "Reveal contact". We do not sell personal information. We share data only with the processors that run our infrastructure (hosting, database, auth, analytics) under contract.
Your rights
You can access, edit, export, or delete your space and account at any time from Settings. For questions or requests, email hello@altruistspace.com.
Retention
We keep account and space data while your account is active. Analytics and reveal logs are retained for up to 24 months to power your dashboard. Deleting your account removes your space and personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Children
Altruistspace is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated date above.
