What are professional networking cards?
Professional networking cards introduce your name, role and work to someone you meet. A digital networking card puts your contact profile, company websites, referral links and major portfolio links in one place. Share the profile directly, print its QR code on a card, or use an NFC card to open it on a compatible phone.
Badge scanners give you a CSV of names you barely remember. Paper cards get crumpled in pockets and typed into contacts weeks later, if at all. Neither tells you where you met, what you talked about or why you should follow up.
Altruistspace replaces both with a live profile, a QR code and an NFC tap. Every contact reveal is stamped with the active event and stored with a private note — so your post-event follow-up actually lands.

Create the event
In your dashboard, add an event name like "SaaStr Annual" or "Creator Meetup Mumbai". Set it as active.

Use your QR code or NFC card at the event. The other person scans or taps — no app needed on their side.

Open My Contacts to see everyone you met, grouped by event, with private notes and timestamps.
Choose a networking card for the way you meet
- Digital business card: share your profile link in a message, email signature or online meeting. Update your links without creating a new profile URL.
- QR code business card: print a scannable card for conferences and meetups. A phone camera opens your profile; NFC is not required.
- NFC business card: use a reusable tap-to-share card with compatible phones. Keep a printed QR code as a fallback.
Your public links are available without an account. Gated phone and WhatsApp details still require the visitor to sign in; an anonymous scan alone does not identify a visitor. Use a profile link for Event Memory rather than expecting a standalone NFC contact-save to record an exchange.

Frequently asked questions
How do I exchange contacts at a conference without an app?
Open your Altruistspace profile and let the other person scan your QR code or tap your NFC card. They land on your page, tap Save contact to download a vCard, or Reveal contact to unlock your phone and WhatsApp after signing in. They never need to install anything.
Does the other person need an account?
No. Anyone can view your public profile and save your contact from the QR code or NFC tap. To reveal gated fields like your phone number, they sign in with Google — which also lets you remember who reached out.
Can I add notes to a contact?
Yes. In your dashboard under My Contacts you can add private notes to any reveal: what you talked about, follow-up tasks, or where you met. Only you can see them.
Can I export my contacts?
Each contact reveal gives you a vCard file you can save to your phone. A bulk export feature is planned for a future paid tier; for now you can review and manage contacts inside Altruistspace.
Does it work offline?
The viewer needs an internet connection to load your profile and sign in. Your QR code and NFC tag work anywhere, but the reveal and event stamp happen online so they are logged securely.
